For Greg (Staying Home With The Blues)

There have been some positive aspects of lockdown for me. I definitely would never have gotten into home recording if I hadn't been forced to. Since the beginning of isolation I've been involved in many projects and have collaborated with musicians around the world. Here is a pice I wrote dedicated to the inspiration, double bass player Greg Cohen whom I had a lesson with back in December. Josephine Davies and I recorded this in our home made sound booth. We improvised around the head and then I arranged and played three flute flute parts working around our spontaneous interaction. #gregcohen #Josephinedavies #lockdown #jazz
